This Saturday we will be contributing a piece to the Stoked Sessions fundrasing benefit. This event will be at Upper Playground LA 125 E 6th Street in Los Angeles from 7-11 pm and will be $15 admission. We highly reccomend coming early and forking out the cash for this great charity. Did we mention almost all the artwork will be $75. Pretty sweet deal for everyone if you ask us.

In one month we will be on the East Coast doing our thing!!! We also will be having a show in Philadelphia at T&P Fine Art with 3 other artists. We will be selling some monoprints and some originals. We will also be doing an installation and premiering a short film.

Just finished painting this mural at Manual Arts High School in South Central Los Angeles. We were originally going to paint it in late December ’08 but on our way to the school an incident occurred on campus. Driving down Vermont Ave in Los Angeles to the school we noticed multiple helicopters circling above. Then as we got closer to the school we saw that the road was blocked off. We couldn’t contact our point man for the project, Mark Ayala, and he was nowhere to be found. There were rumors that there had been a shooting on campus at 2:00 o’clock that afternoon and the school was on a total police lock-down. Finally at 6:00 pm the students and teachers were bussed to the nearby sports arena and were free to leave. We finally found Mark and he said there wasn’t a shooting but someone was suspected of carrying a gun on campus. The reason we couldn’t reach him was because armed riot police officers were in his classroom enforcing a strict lock down policy. Nobody in or out; no exceptions. Kids were not even permitted to use the restroom. Luckily every one got off campus safely and some suspects were detained. This is a really great project that Mark is doing and we have give him props for being diligent in getting artists to come to the school. It was our honor to come and give a little time back and work with the students. So when we came back to paint the mural we decided to use a light hearted design. So Mr. Penguin up, up and awaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!

We recently had this picture sent to us by a loyal fan of ours in Los Angeles. We have had a lot of people say they are gonna get our art tattooed on them but very seldom do they follow through. We also just got back from Philadelphia and had a great time out there!!! We will be posting some pictures very soon.

New and final colorways on Guantanamo Slay!!!! We just finished signing the gold in a edition of 15 and the white in a edition of 8. This is our favorite piece so far in our arsenal of artwork. The photos just don't do these prints justice. These will be available exclusively at Paperworks Laboratories. Get them before they are gone!!!

Quick update. Paperworks Laboratories just relaunched their site. They just added some new heat to their roster. Kofie One just dropped an insane 3 color plus custom hand watercolor print. They also have Estevan Oriol and Retna dropping prints in 2009.

Last weekend we unveiled our "Guantanamo Slay" silver colorway print at Crewest Gallery's Printed show. The show looks great with lots of great talent. Worth stoping by the gallery to check out.
We have 3 events this saturday with our work in it. First is a benefit show taking place at Pure Tattoo in Hollywood. This show will have some of the worlds most talented graffiti artist in it. We are really excited to be showing with all the talented artist in this show. Check the flyer for all the talent.
We are also participating in Bomit's Also Known As bandana art show. This Show will have some of the top street artists in the world submitting art on bandanas as the canvas. This event will be taking place at Han Cholo in Echo Park.
Los Angeles' own Hit + Run Crew will be printing some of our designs live at Peel Here 4. This event will be crazy. DeeJaying will be one of our favorites The Gaslamp Killer. Crazy Saturday. Hope you all come out and have a good times.

We had a great opening night at Crewest Gallery's Top of the Dome V this past weekend. If you are in the Los Angeles area you should really try to stop by the show. There is a lot of really great works from a lot of talented artist in this exhibition. We also had the Inaugural Show out in Philadelphia at T&P Fine Art. This was a very successful grand opening of this brand new gallery. We sent out a bunch of prints and they are almost sold out. If you are in Philly this show is not to be missed. We also have some big news coming in the next month about a new solo show on the East coast. So Check back.
